The next two days went by in a blink, with Ava and I exploring the city, doing lots of shopping, and trying new food. I didn’t see Lucian at all during those two days, I would have thought he was ghosting me after confessing if not for the constant text messages he would send me throughout the day. He would check up on me during the day and night, asking how the day was going or if I needed anything from him. We still hadn’t talked about how we were taking our relationship forward but sometimes his text would be flirty and I didn't know how to handle them.

He was being awfully playful. It was almost adorable for a man in his position.
Today we checked out of the hotel and were on the way to the place Aunt Gia had reserved, where all the wedding festivities would take place. I would also be meeting her fiance for the first time. The place she reserved really was out
