Liam's facial expression changed from jovial to shocked to angry, in split seconds.
“That wasn't what I meant.” I retraced my steps. "I was trying to point out what you and Asher had in common. The other day he wanted to call you about my work-related stress.”
"Oh." He raised an eyebrow, and his face calmed down in realization.
