Jasmine's POV
“Common Asher, you shouldn't have.” I frowned as I walked back to the inside and he followed me from behind.
“Someone needed to teach him a lesson, he...”
"Can you stop? Please." I groan. "I pleaded that you let Liam be. Rylee called, crying badly on the phone.” I revealed with so much annoyance. If only Asher had listened to me, I wouldn't be feeling as guilty as I was now.
Instead, he followed me upstairs to the bedroom in silence. He tossed the car key on the table stand beside the lamp and sat at the edge of the bed, not willing to budge. He began to rip off his clothes one at a time, getting ready for a bath to wash off his filth.
I was riled up, finding out Liam did that to me got me so furious, but with Asher throwing random punches got me more worked up. Maybe something was better left unsaid.
I promised Asher to not keep the tiniest of secrets, but it didn't seem like I could keep up with the act. I had a reason for asking him to let Liam be, he wasn't worth
