They spent the whole afternoon working with the pile of stink bug leaves. By the time they were done, the sun was already setting. Cara pulled Gray Wolf toward the stream again to wash up.

This wasn’t the same spot where they had caught the moose that morning. This section was upstream, closer to the cave, and much wider.

Cara loved soaking in the stream during summer. The cool water refreshed her and eased away the fatigue of a long day.

Without hesitation, she slipped off her dress, hung it on a branch by the shore, and jumped straight into the water.

Gray Wolf stood by the edge, staring at her bare, flawless body, completely entranced.

A splash of water hit him square in the face, snapping him back to reality.

‘Mate, come in!’ Cara sent him a mind link, her hands playfully flicking water at him.

Gray Wolf chuckled, took off his leather wrap, and jumped in after her.

Cara was thrilled. She dove underwater, swam a circle around him, then suddenly surfaced beside him, sending a spray of droplets everywhere.

Bathing with someone else was a completely new and unexpectedly fun experience for her.

Gray Wolf smiled and reached out to grab her, but she was too quick, slipping away with ease.

Her long hair floated on the water like a ribbon of black silk, and her perfect figure, like a masterpiece sculpted by the Moon Goddess herself, shimmered beneath the clear surface.

His gaze followed her, filled with warmth and affection.

Then, without a word, he dove in, chasing after her.

The sun dipped behind the mountains, painting the water in hues of gold and crimson. The gentle babble of the stream mingled with Cara’s laughter, filling the wilderness with the peaceful sounds of a summer evening.

Cara’s stamina was no match for Gray Wolf’s. After just a short swim, he caught her ankle and pulled her back, straight into his warm embrace.

Gray Wolf had run out of patience. He lowered his head and captured her playful lips in a deep, hungry kiss.

The cool water surrounded them, but their breath burned like fire in the summer heat. Cara felt his strong arms tighten around her waist, pulling her flush against his firm chest.

His kiss was fierce and possessive, carrying an unhidden desire. It deepened, as if he wanted to consume every bit of her. Cara barely had time to let out a soft moan before wrapping her arms around his neck, surrendering herself completely to the overwhelming sensation.

The water rippled gently, waves lapping around them, reflecting the fiery glow of the setting sun. The soft murmur of the stream faded into the background, drowned out by the rapid thudding of their hearts.

Gray Wolf showed no restraint. One hand held the back of her neck while the other trailed down the smooth curve of her bare back. The feel of her soft skin beneath his palm only made him crave more. Cara trembled slightly, but she didn’t shy away. Instead, she parted her lips further, inviting him to deepen the kiss even more.

Their kiss stretched on, lingering and intoxicating, like an endless stream that would never run dry. Only when they were both breathless did Gray Wolf finally let go, though he remained close, unwilling to part from the sweetness of her lips.

Cara panted softly, her eyes shimmering like water reflecting the twilight, filled with unspoken emotions. She playfully bit his lip in a light reprimand, but there was no resistance in her gaze.

Gray Wolf chuckled, his voice deep and husky.

“Not running anymore?”

Cara shook her head. She clung to him tightly, her small hands tracing down his bare back, moving lower… and lower still.

Gray Wolf’s lower body was already hard, pressing firmly against Cara’s stomach. Without hesitation, she reached down and wrapped her fingers around him, slowly stroking.

Mimicking the motions of intimacy, she tightened her grip and began to move. That was just the way she was, innocent yet bold, always direct, never hiding her own desires.

The moment her hand closed around him, Gray Wolf’s breathing grew heavy. A low, guttural growl escaped his throat, somewhere between pleasure and agony.

He lowered his head and whispered in her ear,

“Good girl, you're doing so well.”

Encouraged by his praise, Cara moved her hand with even more determination.

Gray Wolf's mind was completely consumed by desire. He shut his eyes tightly, tilting his head back, his throat vibrating with the deep growls of a wolf lost in pleasure.

As time passed, Cara's hand began to tire. Just then, Gray Wolf suddenly lifted her up, positioning her so that her legs wrapped around his firm waist. Without hesitation, he took one of her soft, rosy buds into his mouth, sucking and licking with unrestrained hunger.

The wet sounds coming from his lips only heightened Cara's arousal. She tightened her legs around his waist, her arms clinging to his neck as she arched her back, offering herself up to his eager mouth.

Then, without warning, he released her and gently placed her down onto a smooth, flat rock jutting out from the middle of the stream.

Gray Wolf remained standing in the water. He parted her legs, his gaze fixed on the alluring sight that had utterly captivated him.

He stared so intently that Cara felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her, instinctively wanting to hide herself. But that was impossible.

Before she could even attempt to close her legs, Gray Wolf buried his head between them, his tongue delving into her most intimate depths.

Her eyes widened in shock and fear, completely bewildered by Gray Wolf's actions. But the sensation of wet, slippery contact quickly overwhelmed her, driving her almost to madness.

Gray Wolf was equally aroused. The place held Cara's scent intensely, her sweet fragrance intoxicating him, making him reluctant to leave. He thrust his tongue forward, teasing and withdrawing, making Cara arch her body in response. A wave of tremors passed, leaving that place of Cara even wetter and more sensitive.

Gray Wolf couldn't hold back any longer. He lowered her into the water, making her lean against a rock, and entered her from behind.

The moment they merged, Cara let out a moan of pure pleasure.

Gray Wolf began to move, sending ripples and whitecaps across the water. In the clear stream, only the sound of his heavy breathing, Cara's seductive moans, and the rushing water filled the air.

Six months later. The early morning in Moonshade Valley was as peaceful as ever.A thin layer of mist gently blanketed the distant mountain slopes. The sun had yet to rise fully, with only soft golden rays filtering through the leaves, casting a silky glow over rooftops and treetops. The air was crisp, the vegetation soaked in dew, and the faint fragrance of wildflowers drifted along the breeze, carrying the distinct scent of this land, shrouded in forests and eternal fog.Across the terraced fields winding along the hillsides, the people of Ivyshade bustled with the harvest. The sounds of chatter, scythes slicing through crops, and birdsong blended together, painting a lively, serene scene.Suddenly, from the stone path leading into the valley, a young warrior came rushing over, his voice echoing loudly as he delivered urgent news,“Alpha Raven of Blood Moon is here again!”The moment those words fell, the entire field fell eerily silent. The villagers,

Inside the private chamber, only Raven and a tall warrior remained. The man was Noah, the leader of the expedition to the eternal snow peaks of the Arvani Mountains.Noah bowed slightly before him, his eyes calm, his demeanor respectful as he presented a stack of aged parchment, its edges weathered and frayed, as though corroded by frost and time.“Alpha, during this expedition, aside from retrieving the Glacialis Herba, our forces also discovered the remnants of a long-lost civilization.” Noah paused, his hoarse voice tinged with solemnity. “It lies deep within the heart of the Arvani range, buried beneath the eternal ice.”A flash of curiosity sparked in Raven’s eyes, an interest for a world unknown to him.Noah continued, “We thoroughly searched the entire area. There were no signs of life. No bodies, no remains of any kind. But the architecture still stood, ancient ruins scattered across the ice.
