Writer's POV
The news about Sally and Kendrick's relationship spread across the company, and everyone was talking about their relationship even though there wasn't any solid proof. The only thing they could use was the image that was taken during the dinner party.
Sally felt very embarrassed once again because she was seen as a whore who wants to leech on Kendrick because he is now the present CEO of the company, and that is an image she hates the most, but she was unable to defend herself because it will take a lot to convince every staff member in the company that both of them are not in a relationship.
Sally thought it would be smart to, first of all, go to Mr. Kendrick's office and apologize to him for making them start such stupid rumors around the company. She thought he would be regretting why he stepped in for her in the first place and why he chose to take her out for dinner yesterday.
“Good day, sir,” He raised his head to look at the moment she walked into his office.
