I continued to talk with Barb as we worked in the kitchen. I finished telling her everything that happened with Phil, making sure all of that was out of range of Owen’s hearing. I didn’t like the thoughts of keeping anything from him but I figured since Phil had not succeeded in his attempt to kiss me, telling Owen would do more harm than good.
Barb agreed but once again cautioned that I watch myself around Phil as she was not completely convinced that he might not try to push himself on me. She said she thought that Phil may have the notion in his head that Owen is the only reason I am refusing his advances. I told her I would make sure I made my point much more clear with Phil any and every chance I got from here on out.
