Blood pumps through my body invigorating my senses. Everything around me is heightened, the voices of my workers in the kitchen, the drop of water leaking out of the shower, the Twittering of birds in the sky and most importantly Lola's heartbeat.
I could clearly hear her heart pumping out delicious blood into her veins, as she approached my run, the closer she came the thirstier I became. I wanted so badly to tire down my door and jump at her, but I know better I haven't fully lost myself to my animalistic side.
Acting quickly I used the little bit of clarity I still have in me and hurried to the French window and threw my body into the glass.
