Alpha Orion
Reylin has survived what most could not.
Fierce, free-spirited, and unbreakably strong-willed, she’s one of the last humans still alive and free. She was only thirteen when the Lycans—monsters cloaked in flesh and fangs—descended from the shadows and took everything. Her parents. Her home. Her safety.
Now, ten years later, Reylin is a warrior in one of the last hidden human settlements, with only her younger brother left to protect, she’d rather die than become a slave to the beasts who ruined her world.
But survival gets harder by the day.
The Lycans are not just strong. They’re fast, brutal, and natural-born predators. Since the Great War, they’ve established a merciless new order, one where humans are hunted, enslaved, or wiped out entirely.
And Reylin’s time is running out.
When her village is raided by Lycan soldiers, she risks everything to protect her brother only to be captured by the infamous Alpha of the North.
Alpha Orion.
Crowned in blood and forged in war, Orion is one of the ruthless Alpha who led the Lycans to victory. A cold and calculated killer, he sees humans as weak, defiant creatures undeserving of breath. He doesn’t hesitate to crush rebellions, burn settlements, and extinguish hope.
Until her.
The defiant human girl who won’t bow, who tried to kill him.
The one his beast calls mate.
Orion is disgusted by the bond, repulsed by the idea of being tied to a human, but his instincts scream to claim her, protect her, destroy anything that touches her. And when secrets from the war begin to surface, loyalty is tested, and bloodlines come into question, one thing becomes terrifyingly clear:
He may hate her kind.
But he will burn the world before letting her go.

Chapter: FIVE Orion was beyond livid when he learned that the filthy little human had single-handedly murdered a Lycan in cold blood-a crime punishable by death, one of his own-and was trying to escape, not that she could succeed. Even as he sat in the meeting with his council, he was distracted by the thought of her, and rightly so. The filthy human was unpredictable, but now he had her exactly where he wanted. He knew it was low of him to use her little brother as leverage, but he brushed off those thoughts as soon as they came. He reminded himself that she was just a filthy little human and he could do with her as he pleased. "Alpha Orion," he snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of his name, his heated gaze meeting the eyes of the Clan Head who'd disrupted his train of thoughts. The older Lycan cowered at the intensity of the Alpha's gaze fixated on him and sputtered his words while the other six Clan Heads seated across the oval table grew quiet. "W-we just got news that one of our f

Chapter: FOURRey walked out of the room and paused at the doorway to access her surrounding. The long hallway was dimly lit by yellow bulbs randomly placed high on the walls, that she could make out the stone walls that had grime stuck to it. She looked left and right, weighing her options on which path to follow before swiftly jogging down her left in hopes it was the way to the exit.
She walked swiftly, looking over her shoulders in paranoia when she heard even the tiniest sound of mice scuttling across the stone floors. From the stale air, she could deduced that she was underground which meant she had to find her way up and out of whatever that place was.
There were closed doors on either side of the walls and what creeped her out the most was how eerily quiet it was. She exhaled slowly, letting the fear dissipate through her pores. She approached a rusted red door which had multiple locks and she sighed in relief, quickly pulling out the keys from her pocket and trying everyone of them unti

Chapter: THREEOrion watched the female's eyes roll to the back of her head, her small frame going limp in his arms as she lost consciousness. Without a word, he lifted her in his arms, cradling her against his chest while keeping her face from view before turning to the other Lycans behind him.
The general had a shocked expression on his face, but when the Alpha's stern gaze met his, he quickly averted his gaze, straightened up, and cleared his throat.
"Find the boy; he went that way," Orion ordered, nodding to the other side of the woods.
"Yes, Alpha," he quickly sprang into action, barking out orders to the soldiers.
Orion turned away from the scene and started towards the village with the human girl in his arms; looking down at her, he narrowed his eyes when he noticed the red fingerprints stark against the caramel skin of her neck and sighed. He hadn't realised he was holding her too tight until she began to lose consciousness.
He knew humans were fragile and dispensable, but this was his

Chapter: TWO“Load them up!" the general roared at the soldiers, who immediately sprang into action, forcing the humans into a straight line and beating the rebellious ones into submission. They pushed the last of the villagers into the awaiting trucks, shutting and locking the doors behind them.
The door to a cabin was pushed open rather roughly; it almost fell off its hinges. Black combat boots stepped out onto the snow; with each step he took, the snow crunched under his feet, leaving behind large footprints.
The general inclined his head in submission when the man came to stand in front of him.
"Alpha Orion," he bowed in greeting.
"Was that the last of them?" the Alpha asked in a gruff tone, nodding towards the trucks.
"Yes, Alpha," the general replied quickly, folding his hands behind his back. The Alpha hummed and nodded.
He gripped the small silk scarf he'd been clutching and brought it to his nose; taking a long inhale, he shut his eyes. Cold grey eyes snapped open, a growl rumbling

Chapter: ONEA red-faced Reylin huffed as she heaved a dirty sack full of hay over her shoulder. Heavy boots trudging two inches into the snow-covered ground a moment later, towards the beaten-down shed.
She exhaled a shaky breath as a particularly cold chill ran down her spine. She frowned, tugging at her thick fur coat with nimble fingers covered in black cotton gloves that may have seen better days. "Rey!" Her attention snapped over to the little curly-haired boy waving frantically to get her attention, a toothy grin spread on his reddened cheeks.
Rey smiled and waved back at him with her free hand, only looking away when he turned back to his friends who were playing in the snow. She shook her head and quickened her pace towards the shed so she could get her little brother indoors where it's warm before the little troublemaker catches a cold.
Pulling open the rickety door of the rundown shed, it made a loud creaking noise. She walked in and dropped the bag, ripping it open and emptying
