In her sleep, Gu Ruoruo heard her mother shriek. She shot up from her bed.

She looked at the pitch-black room and thought that she had been dreaming.

Then, she heard her mother screaming again.

Without much consideration, she left her bed and rushed out of the room.

At the staircase, she saw the visitors standing in the living room.

Her expression changed as she rushed down, shouting and questioning, "Tang Ruochu, why are you here?"

Tang Ruochu turned around and saw Gu Ruoruo rushing in full of anxiety. Her brows raised up as she thought to herself that it was better if everyone was around.

"This is my house, and I come and go as I wish. Should I inform you before coming here?" Tang Ruochu smiled gently, but her eyes were filled with a murderous chill.

Gu Ruoruo walked closer and saw Zhao Xiaowan frowning in pain on the sofa. She walked over and asked anxiously, "Mom, what's wrong with you?"
