The next time Olivia woke up she found herself in her bedroom.
With much difficulty she sat up. Her lips were chapped and her mouth was dry. A nurse entered the room and helped her in removing the cannula. Olivia went to the washroom.
“Ma’am, let me help you in removing the bags.” The nurse followed her there.
Olivia shook her head. The maid understood and left her alone to give some privacy to her. After removing the catheters and disposing off the bags, she stood under the shower. The warm water started cascading down her body and soothed her muscle aches.
