Seventeen Years Ago

Location: Florida

All the little kids were playing together near the lake. The little girl with golden hair and doe like eyes was running from her friend; Adriana, who was trying to catch her.

Soon Adriana caught the golden haired beauty and other kids started laughing with delight, as it was now that golden haired girl’s turn to catch them but soon the other kids' attention turned away from Adriana and her friend when they noticed the young boy coming in the ground.

The young kid of their age who was dressed poorly, instead of coming towards them sat down on the ground near the tree. He had caramel colored skin. The sleeves of his tee-shirt and his pants had holes in it. After seeing his condition anyone could say he was from some poor family or did not have a family at all. The kids stopped playing and surrounded him and started bullying him by calling him names.

The boy whimpered and soon tears started falling from his eyes but that did not stop other kids from bullying him. It was fun for them.

The golden haired girl who was standing quietly frowned at the scene in front of her eyes. She felt bad for the poor kid.

"Stop ittttttt!" She shouted by placing her small hands on her waist. The stopped on hearing her voice and looked at her.

"Mommy says it's a bad habit to bully someone. God punishes them." She sounded like an adult.

"Now God will punish you." She said pointing her finger at them and then nodded her little head satisfied with herself.

"She is lying!" A spoiled kid shouted from the crowd. He was the son of lawyer and was older than them so kids easily did whatever he said in order to avoid getting in his bad books; because he threatened them that his dad would put them in jail if they offended him. They were little so it was easy for him to make them believe his words.

“Nooo! I'm not!" She shouted back and glared at him, crossing her little arms over her chest.

A green eyed eight years old boy was seeing all this from the forest near them but kids were too focused on the scene in front of them to notice him.

She is quite different from others. He thought to himself.

He found the little girl amusing. She took a side of some beggar and was ready to fight others for someone who was not even her friend.

He could not make out her features because it was her back to him. He could only see her golden hair. But he found her voice angelic.

She must be pretty like her voice. He thought to himself.

He wanted to see her face so before he knew he was walking towards her.

When lawyer’s son saw that the little girl was not backing away from him he lifted his hand to pull her hair to teach her a lesson. Before he could touch her hair a hand gripped his wrist in death like grip. The kid's eyes widened. The ten year boy sure looked strong and tall of his age. And why would not he. He had the genes of Zander Mitchell and the training he did everyday made him look more strong of his age.

When that eight year old boy's eyes fell on that golden haired girl his breath hitched. She had beautiful blue color eyes and cherry colored little pouty lips. Her skin was free of any marks and its creamy texture made her look more beautiful. She had a face of an angel. She was the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

The girl was curiously looking at him with her doe-like eyes. But then as if an answer of her question came to her mind, she gave him a big bright smile. He noticed that the smile brightened her face.

"See God send him to help me because I was right." She said and placed her hands on her waist.

She proudly nodded to herself.

"L-leave me p-please." The lawyer's son stuttered.

The boy's eyes snapped towards the kid and he felt like choking him to the death for disturbing him. All he wanted was to stare at that golden haired beauty and listen to her angelic voice.

"No." The boy spoke for the first time. His voice was stern. The boy's grip tightened even more on that kid's wrist.

The kid's eyes got wet and it looked as if he was going to pee in hispants.

"A little more pressure and-" He said darkly. He left his threat incomplete. The kid started crying loudly and others except that golden haired girl were too scared to make a move to save him.

"It is a vewy bad thing." The five year old golden haired girl scolded the boy.

A girl who barely reached his shoulders was scolding her. Seeing this, his eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Is that so princess?" He chuckled darkly.

"Yes." She answered whilst nodding. "Now be a good boy and leave him." She ordered him.

It was the first time that other than his parents someone ordered him but he didn't feel angry. In fact he liked it.

"Dare to do something like this again and you will get to hear a lot from me." He hissed in his ear and left him. The poor kid fell on the ground. But immediately crawled back and stood up and ran away. The other kids except the little golden haired angel followed the suite. They were scared that the boy who was bigger than them might hurt them now as well.

"What is your name princess?" He asked the little girl who was looking curiously at him, standing there quietly.

"I'm not gonna tell you." The girl answered sassily whilst narrowing her big blue eyes.

"Why not?" He frowned. If there was anything which he hated it was to hear the word no.

"You are a stranger." She said with a face that said Duh! Are you stupid?

"Well I helped you....Erm so I think we are friends now." He was losing his patience but he tried to convince the girl politely.

Why the fuck she is not telling me her name? He thought to himself.

"Oh sorry I forgot." She said slapping on her forehead with her little hand. "My name is Olivia." She said and gave him a big smile, extending her hand for a hand shake. Something akin to warmth crossed his eyes and he smiled at her.

"Pretty name for a prettiest girl." He replied; making the little girl blush and nod shyly. His lips curled into a beautiful smile on seeing her all shy. "And I'm Archer." He said to her and shook her baby soft hands.

She nodded. He felt so good holding her little hand. In that moment he decided he would always hold her hand. He reluctantly left her hand and his eyes drank in her appearance. He noticed her hair band had an artificial tulip flower and even her little summer dress which she was wearing had tulips printed on it.

She is herself a little flower. He thought to himself.

"Tulip." He said ever so slowly but she heard it.

"I like Tulips." She blushed and looked down at her feet. She thought he would make fun of her for her obsession with tulips. But who knew that the exact opposite would happen.

"You are beautiful like a tulip flower." He stroked her soft rosy cheeks. And delicate

it. He added in his mind.

Her eyes widened and snapped towards him. For a moment she thought that he was joking but when she looked at him she saw that there was a genuine smile on his face. He looked pretty serious. He didn't make fun of me. He is a good boy. She thought to herself.

"Thank you." She gave him a bright smile.

Anyone's day would bright up seeing her beautiful smile. He thought.

"You are welcome Tulip." He smirked, his eyes sparkling with happiness.

"Tulip?" She asked, frowning.

"Yes. Tulip! I'm going to call you Tulip." He answered with confidence.

My Tulip.

She giggled. "Okay." She chirped, happily. He smiled.

"Mommy said to come back soon. I've to gooo now." She said after few seconds pouting.

He frowned. "Will you come tomorrow?" He could not help but ask her. He did not want the little girl to leave so soon. She nodded.

"Good." He replied.

"Bye! Bye!" She waved at him and started running towards her home.

Unknown to her Archer followed her from a distance to make sure his little flower reached home safely. When he saw her entering into a small two storey house his lips curled in distaste.

"Little Tulip deserves to live in a palace like a princess." He said to himself.

"One day I will get one made for her." He promised to himself and made his way to his estate.

The next day he went to that place at the same time and found other kids playing there along with Olivia. He found himself smiling at the sight of her. Her eyes were twinkling with happiness.

But suddenly she was pushed by some kid and she fell on the ground, thus, hurting herself. Her beautiful eyes which were sparkling with happiness few minutes ago, were glossy now. His fists clenched and his jaws ticked on seeing her in this state. His grip on the shopping bag which he had in his right hand tightened.

Before he knew he was walking towards her. He knelt down in front of her and took out his handkerchief. Her friend who was sitting beside her few seconds ago did not waste a second in leaving her side. The kids were watching him curiously. The kid who pushed her mistakenly nearly peed his pants seeing him snarling at him viciously.

Olivia, who was too busy in staring at her wound on her knee and weeping because of it, looked up and found him kneeling in front of her. His eyes immediately softened when he found her looking at him. He placed his shopping bag beside him and slowly wrapped his handkerchief on her wound to stop the blood from oozing out.

Olivia's bottom lip quivered but she did not speak.

"Shhh Tulip! Don't cry." He cooed, cleaning her tears with his hands.

For an unknown reason this made her cry even more. He took out his cell phone and sent a message to his driver, ordering him to get an antiseptic cream and bandage as soon as possible.

He turned towards the kids and his eyes flashed dangerously. "Run." His was low but harsh. And the kids were quick to follow his order.

He turned towards her and hugged her small body, her cheek tightly pressed against his chest. He softly patted her back and placed a soft kiss on her hair, trying his best to calm her.

When the driver arrived with the first aid box his eyes widened and his mouth gaped open. It was the very first time that their young master was hugging a girl. A stranger!

When he came in the view of Archer he was still in a state of shock. But one look from Archer had him composing himself immediately.

From the time their future capo has learnt using gun he did not bother opening his mouth when someone would make a mistake. He used his gun. One act of disobedience would take that person's life. Anyone could tell that he would be even more ruthless than his own father. Even now his eyes were dark. It looked as if he wanted to kill someone but had to refrain himself from doing that. The driver bowed and gave him the first aid box. Archer dismissed him with a flick of his fingers.

He broke the hug and took out the antiseptic cream from the box.

"It'll hurt." Poor Olivia whimpered.

"It'll but for a tiny second and my Tulip is a brave girl. She can bear it! Right?" He spoke ever so softly and tried to convince her.

The girl nodded, rubbing her eyes with her tiny hands.

He applied the cream and blew to cool it down. She whimpered but did not say much. When he was done with the bandage he found her quiet. There were only dried tears on her rosy cheeks. But there was a cute pout on her lips.

"You know what Tulip I brought something for ya today." He said, trying to lighten her mood. She looked at him and found him gesturing towards a shopping bag lying beside her.

"Is it a gift?" She asked, her big blue eyes blinking innocently at him.

"Aye! It is!" He smiled fondly at her.

"Why you bo- boht (brought) it?" She asked curiously. It was difficult for the poor girl to even speak that word called 'brought'.

Why won't she just accept the fucking gift? I myself went to that fucking flower shop and got it specially made for her. He thought to himself.

"We are friends remember?" He got irritated but asked her somewhat calmly.

"Oh! Sorry." She said putting a hand on her mouth unaware of the fact that he was growing angry. Her mood was changing slowly.

She took the bag and opened it to find a beautiful headband made up of fresh pink tulips. Her eyes widened in surprise. She never thought she would get a beautiful tulip headband as a gift. It was made up of fresh tulips. Her face lit up on seeing the beautiful gift.

"Wow!" She said with a bright smile, her cute pout long gone.

He was observing her very carefully. When he saw her face glowing with happiness he smirked satisfied with himself that he could make his Tulip happy.

Before he knew she jumped on him without caring about her wounded knee.

"Thank you! You are the best!" There was excitement and happiness in her voice. He wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Ya liked it! Aye!" He said, with amusement dancing in his eyes.

"Yes!" She removed her small arms from his neck and tried to wear the headband to only be stopped by him.

"Wait, I will help ya." He took the headband from her hands and made her wear it. She pouted but stayed quiet.

"And now you look like a flower, princess." He was looking down at her not only adoringly, but masterfully.

She blushed at the compliment. She was a little cute girl but she was not used to receiving many compliments.

"I can't see myself." She pouted.

"Well there is a solution for it." He said whilst taking out his cell phone.

"You have a phone!" Olivia exclaimed. She was surprised to find out that he had a phone.

"Aye! I have a phone." He replied nonchalantly.

He was about to open the front camera of his phone but decided against it. He had a chance of taking a picture of his Tulip and he was not going to miss it.

"Look at me." He ordered softly and leaned back.

He took her picture and showed her.

"It is looking pwetty(pretty)." She was in awe.

"It's looking pretty because you are wearing it." He said, looking in her bright blue eyes which he had started loving so much.

Olivia found herself lucky to get a friend like Archer. Little did the poor girl know that he will become her crush when she would grow up and her biggest nightmare when she would meet him again after seven years of separation.

She had attracted the attention of a devil who had already promised himself to keep her forever. According to him the innocent angel was his to keep and his to cherish. The moment he laid his eyes on her she became his possession.

Who knew she would become his deadly obsession when she would be taken away from him by her father.
