CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

The hanger there landed in was more or less like the same one they'd left from, but she lacked the time to admire it's expanse and space.

There was a car, probably a rental, waiting for them and as soon as they alighted from the jet, they were shepherded into the black, sleek car that sat lazily, waiting for them.

There were two men that looked more like the one back home, the unsmiling ones that Riley had called 'grumpy'.

She'd wanted to fuss about her bag but then she saw one of the men collecting it from Stacy before the woman went in and the stairs to the jet shut her in.

Everything was happening so fast and her head was still reeling from the words Jordan had spoken to her just few minutes ago.

"I love you, baby girl."

She wanted to believe he meant it.

He opened the door to the expensive looking four wheeler and held it for her, letting her get in with ease.
