CHAPTER SIXTY THREE
TEN YEARS EARLIER
There was knocking on the door of her balcony and there was only one person in the whole wide world that ever comes into her room from that door.
Jordan.
With a wide smile on her lips, she went to open the door to let her best friend in, a warning she didn't half mean sitting at the tip of her tongue.
She already knew that no matter how many times she warns him off, he'd never use the front door.
She's tried and his reply have always remained same, "that's their door down there, Jo, this is mine. I'll always use it because I need you."
She dragged herself over and opened up but the chidding died on her lips as soon as she saw his face.
No, he wasn't here to taunt her or disturb the hell out of her life.<

JoJo was curled in the big, wide bed hat adorned the room she'd been taken to by the men that had taken her.It looked like a hotel to her coming up, a penthouse suite maybe but she had no strength to waste thinking about that.Anything that happens to her from here on out, she's left it to fate.Maybe the merciful goddess would pity her and let in a little tweak.She closed her eyes, again, willing herself to sleep just like she's been doing for the past hour plus.For some reason she whole heartedly loathed, she couldn't do the one thing she craved right now.She wanted to sleep more than she wanted anything else right now but it wasn't happening.She didn't want to lay awake like she was now, thinking about everything that's happened today, thinking about Jordan and worrying if he was okay, even after what he did.He had a father in the hospital

The bar, JoJo noticed, was a small one.The lightening inside it was low, colored and sim but she could still make out people inside it and the ruckus that was going down in there.There was another crash, as she got closer to the door that made her wince, it was much louder than the one she'd heard while on call with Zayn and much more real.Her hand shook a little as she reached for the door, there was no scary, giant guy stood outside the door as the bouncer after all.She pushed the door open just as her two new body guards made it to where she stood, and then in she went.The sight of the bars interior was nothing anybody wants to walk into.There were broken glasses everywhere, she could see that the closer she got to the serving bar, and furnitures turned over.At one end of the room, there was Zayn, or at least someone she thought was Zayn, speaking to an older guy who didn't look half about happy about the shit going in in here.

The car ride back to the hotel was quiet too.Jordan had fallen asleep right before they took off, giving JoJo ample time to think about this.She took her time to look at him, really seeing him.He looked so worn and tired to her and he had new lines in his face that came with stress but somehow, he was still the most handsome man she's ever seen.Maybe it was that thing he'd talked about, you know, love.It really messes with you, rocks your world till the person you love becomes the center of it all.She tried to move her hand away from his, so he doesn't have to hold on anymore, stressing his injured hand, but his grip only tightened on her, not letting go.It made her smile.The car rolled to a stop right in front of the hotel and one of the two men came down with her."We're here."She said to Jordan, trying to shake him awake."Hmmm."His green pools slid open, bloodshot and unfocused."We're at the
