CHAPTER SIXTY FOUR

"What the fuck man? I'm no woman expert but you don't keep them in the dark about something this big."

Jordan watched Zayn finish his lecture with a shrug, wondering if his brother wasn't right somehow.

Maybe he should have told her on that first day she'd sauntered into his office, looking hot as hell.

Maybe he should have reminded her that he was the same Jordan she'd left behind when she moved with her family, the very same one whose life had hit rock bottom as he'd tried to learn living without his anchor to sanity.

She'd been that for him after all, the one reason he never reeled off into the deep, dark ends.

And maybe he should have told her about the countless nights he'd go over to her house and scale her balcony, a pack of beer or two in his backpack, just because he couldn't sleep.

He'd let himself into her room and lie in her bed which they'd left behind for some reason,
