Kabanata 30

Hope. My name’s already screaming that despite of all the darkness, there’s still a hope. At this point, I can only hope. And now, I’m deeply hoping for myself to remember my past.

"But what if your answer is the only way for me to remember?" pagpupumilit ko.

He lazily sighed and shifted his seat. "I would never risk it if answering you will just put you in danger."

Hindi naman ako nakasagot. Ganoon niya ba kagustong masigurado ang kaligtasan ko?

"But—"

He groaned. "No more buts, Gwy. I’m here because I want you to know that I’ll court you again."

Napaawang ang labi ko at gulat na napatingin sa kaniya. May kung anong kumiliti sa sikmura ko. Napatakip ako sa bibig ko nang bigla akong sinukin. Nang makabawi ay umayos ako ng tayo at tinaasan siya ng kilay.
