My stomach had multiple flip flops my drive to the address Mimi had sent me. Steve apparently lived on campus which meant I had to go go school.

What could he have done to Mimi to cause that kinda reaction though?

I wasn't sure if he was the spur because Mimi liked him very much and if he was... I wanted to know to what limit.

Finding Mimi in front of the dorm, sat on a chair in a singlet and shorts. She was barefooted and sure looked like homeless with rumpled hair. I squinted in confusion.

“Mimi?” I ran toward her.

She turned to face me and tears rolled down her cheek. Sitting close to her, I cleaned up her teary eyes and gave her a hug. Some group of people were laughing and I didn't know if it was about us or something else. I didn't care to. All I wanted to know was how Mimi got to this state.

I pulled out of the hug and clasped her face, nodding thoughtfully at her. “Breathe.”

She shook her head with another roll of liquid which I managed to caught before it dropped down
