Monday morning. I woke up just before my alarm rang. I couldn’t wait to get to work, just to see Yoké again. I couldn’t stop smiling as I did my make up: knowing that whether or not I decided to put on make up today, Yoké would still think I’m beautiful. Such a lucky woman, I am. My phone began ringing and I rushed over to get it from the charger, cause I knew that it would be Yoké calling. It wasn’t. It was Nathan.
