CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

Everdeen had worked very hard at college and eventually graduated with very good marks. Her mother Miranda was very proud of her and very soon she was going to the city to find a suitable job.

Ever since the accident happened the villagers started to treat Everdeen differently and this made her wonder what was going on. When she asked her mother Miranda about it she simply told her that it was nothing but gossip. 

Even if it was gossip this never really put Everdeen at ease because all the other girls would refuse to talk to her or be friends with her.

She was always alone.

This made her feel like she was an outcast and it made her think that something was definitely wrong.

It was clear that her mother Miranda was hiding something from her so she could feel it.

The pain still felt raw and the memories never really left my mind. I still miss her more than ever.
