CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
Everdeen shrugged and forgot about the weird feeling she had after she left her boss's office. It was going to be nothing but a friendly lunch besides it was for work purposes. She couldn't believe that she was getting her promotion on her first day of work. She had to thank her best friend who helped her get this job.
When she told her best friend she was shocked her boss never behaved in such a manner and he hated it when his employees came late to work.
Deep down she kinda felt jealous of Everdeen because she was winning the boss's heart.
I mean who wouldn't like her.
Everdeen was pretty,smart,funny,she had a body to die for.
She was probably sounding crazy now.
She had to get a grip and stop being a jealous best friend. Besides, Everdeen has been through a lot and she deserved to be happy.
