Chapter 17

Raymond can feel his entire body frozen. He intended to run away from a group of people who were absolutely not ordinary people by their stature, avoiding everything. The panic attack that he had just experienced had consumed all of his energy. But behind him was Edward, and he did not want his manager getting involved in his business. He swallowed hard. Yes, there was no other way than to face these people, with only a thirty per cent chance of winning based on his observation of their abilities. He drew closer to Edward, who was standing behind him, looking a little worried. 

‘Look. On the count of three, run away from this place. Understand?’

‘How about you?’
