Chapter 34

The gunshots that rang through the air reminded me of the night when everything came crashing down and my life was never the same. Tears fell down my face and my bottom lip quivered. My knees buckled beneath me and if it wasn’t for Octavious’ body standing flush behind mine, I would’ve either blown myself backwards or fell to the floor because I couldn’t stand. 

Octavious had my fingers wrapped around the gold gun that he had killed my sister and Dash with, and no doubt the rest of my family. He had my finger pressed on the trigger and with his fingers wrapped around my own, they forced me to keep pulling the trigger.
