Chapter 36: Sky - Escaping with Mark
We had made it halfway to the others when a voice rang out in the air. For a moment everything was dead silent, and then everyone started using their magic at once.
Mark pushed me to the ground, I barely escaped the fire that had been coming towards us. I jumped up on Mark's back and he ran towards the others. Leah and Leaf had created a protective barrier. We disappeared behind it and Mark dropped me to the ground before his head was all over me, sniffing and licking.
I moved his head away “I’m okay. I didn’t get hit.”
