Mike stared at the ceiling as he felt the small weight settle onto the right side of his chest. His arms were draped over her as she slept soundly in her favorite spot it seemed. He needed her there. He realized though he was beyond spent he couldn't fall asleep. He was listening to the sounds of her breathing, and he was thinking about the day to come.
