Chapter 7 (Relationship's POV)

Today was the first day she met and knew Stefen but yet he was nothing like the way Jack stated. He had been nothing but a sweet and a good friend to her .

Alice was standing right beside them hearing their conversation. However, she looked upset.

One thing Jasmine had noticed about Alice was that she was a silent type of girl. She rarely used to speak or give her opinions out loud. Jasmine thought her to be an introvert. It was a different thing when it came to her and Jack though.

"Are you okay Alice? Is everything good?" Jasmine spoke patting lightly on her arm.

"Yeah, I'm good." Alice looked up to face Jasmine. "I think I'll get going then. Bye Jazz." Saying that Alice walked away not giving a single glance to Jack.

"Bye Alice." Jasmine waved.

"Is Alice always this silent?" Jasmine asked looking towards the going figure of Alice.

"It is hard to say. Especially for me." Jack replied.

Jasmine chuckled as she understood what Jack meant. For Alice, Jack seemed to be the last person she would open up to.

Suddenly they heard a horn sound. They looked towards the source of the sound only to see Stefen inside his car and he was waving towards Jasmine saying her to get in. She bid Jack goodbye and went near the car as she sat on the passenger's side.

"Hey buddy, could you drop me as well? I lost my car keys," Jack said bending down to face Stefen.

"Come up with a better reason next time Jacky boy." With that Stefen drove the car.

"Thanks for the advice buddy."

They could hear Jack screaming, none of them able to control their laughter.

"Thanks for the ride. I mean I will thank you once we reach my place as well but still."

"That's not a problem."

She couldn't forget what Jack had said about Stefen.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked him instantly regretting. She wanted to ask whether he was interested in girls or not but she thought it would be rude of her to do so and that was the only question left in her mind.

"What?"

"I think my English was pretty good the first time I asked you." She said not wanting to repeat the question.

"Why do you want to know that?" he was amused.

"Well to be honest... Jack told me that you were never interested in any girls before and he even doubts your preference, but as far as I've known you in one day you don't seem anything like Jack said. So, I just wanted to make my thoughts about you win."

"And could I know what your thoughts are about me?"

"That... you are very much straight not that I oppose if you are not and that you like girls and you have a girlfriend."

"No."

"No, what?"

"No, I am not what Jack told you, he is just messing with you and no I don't have a girlfriend." He said calmness flowing out of his voice.

"Oh okay."

‘Wow Jazz congrats. You just made a fool out of yourself.’ She cursed each and every cell of her body.

"So, do YOU have a boyfriend?"

"What?"

"Don't worry Alice did not tell me anything about you," he laughed. "I just wanted to know. Make the information between us equal you know."

"Oh okay. I don't have a boyfriend... I'm not even into dating actually."

"You mean you don't like dating?" he asked in curious tone.

"No, it's not like I'm against dating but I want to find the right guy for me and be with him for the rest of my life rather than test guys and audition them to find my Mr. Perfect."

"Audition them? Seriously?" he laughed moving his head sideways not believing the term she used.

"Yeah, I mean what's the point of dating if you're scared of commitments. I believe in true love and fairy tales. Though I don't expect my Price Charming to come riding a horse but I do wish my Prince Charming to come for me only. I love the concept of Forever and Always." As she finished saying her feelings about love, she could feel him looking at her with amusement filled eyes. "You must be thinking there's some kind of problem with my head. Chill, you need not worry about that. I had my head checked, I'm completely normal," she said waving her hand in the air.

He laughed and turned his eyes back on the road not replying to that.

There was a silent inside the car after that.

"You can drop me right in front of that café. I can walk from there."

He stopped his car right where she mentioned and she got off.

"Thanks for the ride. You saved my travel money today."

"No problem."

"Okay then... bye," saying that she started walking towards her apartment building.

"Jazz?" Stefen called and she turned around hearing her name.

"Can I come and pick you up tomorrow morning?"

She stood still not having any reply to it.
