"Doctor how is my mom?" Kylie asks on seeing the doctor exit out of her mom's wardroom. She was just coming out of the washroom with Jay and Hannah by her side. She had spent close to an hour in the washroom and during this time Hannah and Jay have been begging for her to come out of the washroom but she refused. She wanted to be alone and drown in her own tears, she didn't want to see the pity look on their faces anymore, she was tired of it already.
After so much pleading, she eventually made up her mind to come out of her hiding and that was the same time the doctors finished up with her mom. "Doctor Barrett?" Kylie gave him a sad look begging him to say her mom is still alive. Jay took Kylie's hand and entwined it with his and they all waited for the worst.
"Your mom.... your mom made it alive" doctor Barrett announces and a wide grin spreads on his face.
