Chapter 70 - Another Safe Haven

Ara urgently left the restaurant and got into the car. She overestimated herself in dealing with her past. But the situation now proves whether the mere face of the man could affect her. It has been over a decade since she last saw that face, and yet the impact is still strong. Although, she convinced herself that the man in front of her was not the man in her past. But the feelings that bubbled over felt very familiar. It was the exact feelings she had when she was still a teenager and living with her adopted family.

Good thing Ara could calm herself. Or maybe her maturity and experience over the years play a huge role in her calmness while facing the man. She didn’t expect that one day she would be able to restrain herself in front of that man, sitting quietly instead of panicking.

Yes, she admits that deep inside, she is panicking, but she can control it on the outside and never reveal her inner turmoil.
