"What?"

Minerva looked expectantly at her parents when she said she had been on her mind since yesterday. But seeing their expressions, she could not help but be nervous about their decision.

"Baby, you knew that it was dangerous, right?" Her father asked with his voice laced in seriousness.

"I promise I will only stay here inside! Besides, Harika was here with me." She insisted. She bit the bottom of her lips when her father squinted his eyes.
