SCARLETT'S POV

When I turned around to look at him, I could see he was trying his best to cover up his emotions but his eyes, those deep , dark eyes that held such thick feelings conveyed it all.
I gulped before speaking, "So?"
Giving him an indifferent look, I said,"Should I care?"His eyes widened a little, "You don't?"

He was silent for a few moments. I thought he wasn't going to speak so I spoke again,

It was Maria.Why would she call them?"But Badima...." Xander was going to speak but Maria cut her in between."Xander, they are professional photographers that I've hired. I want to your photos to be absolutely perfect. You both look so cute together. I want your babies to adore you when they look back at your wedding pictures." She said grinning widely. Her eyes shone so much happiness.

Mom sure knows how to make a situation awkward for me and even make the already awkward situation more awkward. Does that even make sense? I could imagine how my cheeks must have heated up on her words.
