61 - Who Is He?

Audrey's POV;

I suddenly jolt out of my sleep, when a sound wakes me. It sounded like a door opening.

I've not been able to sleep deeply tonight. Moses came over here to spend the night, as he has an interview at an office not too far from my house, tomorrow morning, and his house is quite far.

If he spends the night in his house, he'd be late for the interview, and might even lose the job. So, he asked for my help, and I gave it.

He agreed to sleep in the living room as there are only two rooms in this house. One for me, and the other for Angela, and there's no way I'd sleep in the same room as him.

At least not now. I don't trust him enough, and as much as I want to, I haven't fully accepted him back. I need to know what he's truly here for.

He says he wants to make up for his mistakes, but I'm only human. You can't expect me to trust him after all these years.

There are so many different possibilities for his reappearance. Possibilities that send shivers down my spine and a s
