CHAPTER 17 – Her Decision

Taken aback, Governor Draeko looked at Grazziena with a hurt expression. “Why didn’t you like what we do?” his voice was low.
Grazziena felt a pang in her heart. How could she be able to explain without offending or hurting him? “Of course I like it, Sweetheart. It’s just that I am afraid that if we did it again, we might not be able to control ourselves anymore and I might get pregnant. I still wanted to finish my studies. I don’t want to disappoint Papang and Mamang and myself too.” She held his hands and kissed them both.
He smiled with understanding and nodded. “Sweetheart I promise you, I will not take all your innocence until we got married. But please, don’t you deprive me to even touch or kiss you with passion,” his voice was pleading as he looked at Grazziena tenderly.

I Lumaro checked out at the lodging house by three o’clock in the morning. He hailed a cab and asked the driver to bring him to the airport. Do you know of a hotel or lodging house where I can stay in Albaya?” Lumaro interrupted when he saw the reaction of Leslie’s friend, whom she called as Mariella. “Mariella?” Leslie faced her friend and gave her a warning look. “Oh, alright Lumaro, it is better for you to come along with Leslie, for safety purposes, and then she will just drop you off at Triple K Hotel in the City,” Mariella replied nonchalantly. If not for her friendship, that she has for Leslie, she will not even entertain this moron-like man, even if he looks handsome and well, hmm, yummy.

She quickly walked going outside of their University and stood on the waiting shed, beside the University’s gate. Suddenly, Grazziena noticed a man across the street looking at her intensely. The man is tall, good-looking, and with a well-built body. She tried to remember where she saw him because his face seemed familiar. After a moment, the man smiled dashingly and waved at her. Grazziena furrowed. She did not know him although she seemed to be familiar with his aura.
