CHAPTER 48 - He Came For Her

Leslie walked slowly in going out of their University gate. Grazziena went ahead since Governor Draeko fetched her as usual.
She was waiting for a cab when someone stood beside her. As she glanced beside her, she felt her head grew big; her breathing stopped. Her tongue was tied and she could not mutter any word while looking at the man beside her.
“How are you Leslie?” the man asked smiling widely.
Leslie could not hold it anymore when her tears rushed down and she plunged her arms around the man’s neck.
“Lumaro, you are back?” she said with tears now dripping and rolling down to her cheeks. She could feel her heart beats fast now and her spirit was like floating in the air. She is happy, totally and completely happy!
“I am, Leslie,” Lumaro replied as he caressed her head and kissed her forehead.
“Lumaro, I don’t know what to say,” sobbing, Leslie said while resting her cheeks to his wide and hard chest.
