"Dad."

Noah called his father and approached him instantly. I even saw a glimpse of his mouth nearing his ear as if he was whispering something. But I didn't hear what Noah said to him, and I'm not the type to pry into their conversations.

"Amara..." He called the baby girl's name again as he walked closer to me.

I tugged my hair at my earlobe as my lips curved into a smile that didn't make a mess at the edge of my eyes. I step back a little so he can walk towards the baby crib.

I witnessed how Noah's father's eyebrows arched up as his lips drawn in firmly. He looks really sad right now, staring at the stuff of his lost daughter.

I gently raised my hand and pat him on his back. "Don't worry Sir, your daughter will be back soon. I'm pretty sure that she can't wait to see her father and hug him as tight as how long they have been far from each other."

Is this how Mom feels as well? Does she want to see me again because she misses me?
