Chapter 38

"Are you that thankful? You hugged me before, maybe you want release me?"

I instantly unwrapped my arms and step away from him. I ran my finger through my hair that got messy when I removed the helmet. 

I just peered at the ground as I couldn't lift my gazes to Blade because of what he said.

"Look at me."

My hand seemed to stiffen stuck in fixing my hair because of what he uttered.

I pressed my lips together as I slowly raise my eyes to him.

"Are you blushing?" Blade snickered. He even brought up his crumple fist to block his mouth.

"I am not." I looked away from him again and just gawked at the parked motor.

"Come on, I was just kidding. Look at me."

I still didn't give a glance to him. 

I don’t understand what these nasty little ones inside my stomach are doing that cause my heart to beat rapidly.

"Alright, just— try to look around you."

Only then did he get my attention again
