MIRACLE POV

It doesn’t feel good to jump from the fourth floor of a house even when you are a werewolf. My ankle is twisted at a weird angle now while I feel like I might pass out from the pain. Even if the pain is killing me, I am stubborn enough to not allow any sounds to escape my mouth.

Why did I do this? I lay on the muddy floor and regret jumping from the rooftop.

Right after talking to Darius, I came on the rooftop and contemplated whether I should jump down or not. At the end, I did gather my courage and jumped. I landed on my feet and the hot - searing pain hit my legs at once.

Now, I am just laying on the ground waiting for some healing abilities to magically kick in. I am sure Cain’s blood is still in my system given that my bullet wound has healed completely so I am hoping that it will heal me.

I heave a heavy breath and stare at the sky before I feel my bones
