MIRACLE POV
Sara leaves after telling me everything while I stay there just thinking about what she told me.
Cain was telling me the truth. I slapped him for it, humiliated him and called him a liar instead of believing him for even once. I don’t think I will ever get over this guilt. It’s going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
Hours pass but I just stay there, thinking about the same thing over and over again.
I guess it’s time to think about Matthew now. I need to stop him somehow.
I inhale shakily and make my way to his office to talk with him.
Standing outside his office, I wonder what I am going to say to him. I try to search for the anger inside me or perhaps a hint of hate but I find nothing…I am just hurt and I don’t want Matthew to ever become what everyone is saying that he is going to become soon.
