MIRACLE POV
Turning my head, I fix my eyes back at Cain who is now looking at me with a weird emotion swirling in his eyes. When I observe him for five seconds, I can easily tell that he wants to murder me with his eyes. I shudder, wanting to look away, but not being able to do so at the same time.
He is terribly mad at me.
I gulp, praying for my life silently.
“ Why are you here? ” He asks in a casual tone which doesn’t match his expressions at all.
I drag my tongue across my lips, wetting them slightly. My heart begins to pound against my ribcage roughly. I clamp my sweaty hands together and turn around to face Darius instead of Cain.
