Ignoring

After leaving marc’s home Gary went home. Everything that happened to him in the last 12 hours, is totally confused and blur. he tried to remember but he cants recall what happened last night and how did he end up at marc's home. He decided to leave it alone for now and go to attend his classes.

Now Gary was sitting in class in his own thoughts when someone smacked his head from behind. Gary looked angrily at the person behind the action “Nick!!!” he scolded and stood up and smacked Nick’s head.

“Hey, friend! Easy. You are going to make my brain dead.” Nick said rubbing his head where Gary hit him.

“You deserve it.” Gary scolded.

“Okay calm down calm down. I was just trying to get your attention. You were spacing out.” Nick said sitting down on the seat next to Gary’s.

Gary sighed “nothing I am just having a headache.”

“Oh yeah. When did you leave last night? You didn’t even tell us. I called you few times but it all went to your voicemails.” Nick asked.

“Ah, I” he paused for a moment then continued “I was not feeling well so I left. And my phone battery died” Gary lied. He wanted to tell Nick about last night's events, but he was not sure what the hell happened.

“Still, you should have told us. We were worried.” Nick said making a sobbing tease face.

“Worried? Who were the ones who made me drunk?” Gary glared at nick.

Nick gave him awkward smile. Just then the professor entered the class and nick felt thankful for the professor's timing. And the class begins.

Marc was sitting on the rooftop frowning. Zack and Alice were by his side.

“Isn’t he acting a little weird?” Zack whispered to Alice seeing Marc who was acting wired for no reason.

“Yeah, it’s really creepy seeing him like this for no reason,” Alice whispered to Zack.

“What are you two whispering about?” Marc asked with a furious voice. Making Alice and Zack look at him in unison.

“Nothing. We were just discussing people who look creepy when they frown for no reason in general.” Alice said eyeing Marc.

“What are you talking about?” Marc frowned his eyebrows more.

Alice pointed a finger at Marc “you obviously. You are acting weird today.”

Marc looks at them in confusion. “Don’t give us ‘I don’t know what you are talking about look.” Zack said.

“Shut up… go and get busy somewhere…” Marc rolled his eyes.

Alice slapped his shoulder “aren’t you a d**k?”

“Are you asking me or telling me?” Marc gave her a cold stare.

Alice walked to where Marc was sitting and put her palm on Marc’s forehead. Marc slapped her hand away “What are you doing?”

“Your temperature is normal. So, it might be your brain.” Alice said.

Zack laughed seeing the scene.

“Don’t annoy me” Then Marc stood up to leave.

“Where are you going?” Alice asked.

Marc stopped and turned around “to get away from you… your annoyance is getting into my head”.

After classes Gary head to the basketball practice. The whole day Gary was in an angry mood. Nick and chuck were trying to avoid any conflicts with him.

“What’s wrong with him today? I feel like... even if I say ‘hi’ he is going to kill me.” Chuck whispered to nick while they were on the ground warming up before practice.

“I don’t know. Since morning he is frowning angrily. I am scared too. Chuck, please be my shield, if something happens.” Nick said.

Chuck shook his head seeing how silly nick can be. After warming up they head to the ground. Gary was playing with anger he hit three players till now while playing. Everyone was on their edge, afraid of Gary’s expressions. Finally, the captain stopped the match and told them to wrap up for today.

The captain called Gary aside.

“Gary, you need to set your emotions aside when you are on the court. This is not right what you did today and hope there is no next time.” The captain scolds Gary.

Gary felt the captain was right “I am sorry. I will keep that in mind next time.”

Then the captain patted Gary on the shoulder and left. Gary was walking back to the locker room when he saw someone standing near the entrance door. ‘What is this bastard doing here?’. Seeing Marc, Gary felt angry again but he decided to let it go and ignore him. he wanted to confront marc but he thought talking to him will create more conflicts that why he left for the locker room ignoring marc.

Seeing Gary leave Marc smirk ‘ignoring me huh? But it's hard to ignore me… its time you need to know that.”  Marc thought to himself and followed Gary…
