Its me Kane
"Why was Alex warning me to watch my back? That doesn't make any sense. I already know to do that because of Jackson but she made it seem like there's another threat to worry about."
He tugged my hand towards him, getting me to stop and face him and only then did I realize that I was still holding his hand. Blushing lightly I let go of his hand and brought mine awkwardly back to my side.
"Don't worry Ali, I'll keep you safe even from her if I have to, you don't have to worry about your safety anymore. I’m here to keep you and your baby safe. No matter what it takes."
Smiling softly I thanked him but I started to wonder why he would want to protect me and not someone else that could be in danger. What made me so special...maybe because it's his father and he feels responsible for what's happening. Yeah

October 9th 11:30pmKane dropped by to bring me home after Aunt Sally fell asleep. It was weird to be trusting again but it felt nice to be able to have someone that isn't my guardian to talk to about things. I didn't understand what Alison was talking about but I quickly moved next to her to comfort her in her obvious shaken and scared state. I was there as her shoulder to cry on and a helping hand to calm her breathing and help her feel safer when she was obviously feeling helpless. October 10th 6pmI made my way home after spending the day with my Aunt and making sure she was okay and alone. It wasn't a long ride or anything but it still felt weird to be in the car with Kane even though it is nice and all it's just knowing that his father is doing this makes me a little uncomfortable. Saturday, October 12th 6:30am Aunt Sally was being discharged at 7 so Kane came over to drive her back here since I don't have a car and Aunt Sally's car is at her work. We decided to watch a little bit of the news before we left when a surprising face showed up on the screen. Alex's face was there and it showed that she went missing even though it hasn't been 24 hours. 10:25 am I picked up Alisons Aunt and made up a dumb reason why she couldn't come which she bought anyways. I didn't know how to tell her I didn't know where her niece was and I couldn't figure out the best way to even approach the subject. October 13th 6:00am Alex woke up groggy and in complete pain she wanted to be strong but couldn't find the strength or courage to do so. Alex couldn't help but feel useless and weak because somehow she felt that If Alison was there she would have been stronger or found a way to fight him because Alex knew that she was there a year before anyone found her and she survived it and she felt as though she couldn't make it a week in this place. After getting into warmer clothes and actually brushing my hair and teeth I walked back down and left with Kane. he seemed to keep glancing at me for some reason as we walked together to the truck. I wasn’t sure what his problem was. I got dressed decently for the weather, wearing a pair of skinny jeans and boots and a V neck long sleeve sweater.
