CHAPTER 42

Cloud's POV:

I pressed my knuckles on my forehead before directly drinking the remaining drink in my glass. 

"What have I done again this time..?" I frustratedly whispered. 

I was looking at nowhere for a minute before glancing back at my phone. Abby did not call again and when I did dial her number, she's out of reach. 

I look at the wall clock and my forehead creased when I saw that it was already pass 8 PM. My mind clouded with worry thinking why did Abby called and why she's not yet home. 

"I'm sure by now, she's crying. Damn you, Cloud!" I cussed myself before grabbibf my keys and hurriedly went out of the house. 

I tried to call her again while I'm on my way to her office but she was still out of coverage. 

"Damn!..." I punch the steering wheel when I stop because of traffic. "Answer your phone, baby." I silently prayed. After some time, I started driving again.
