CHAPTER 44

Abby's POV:

I am busy reading and signing lots of papers when I heard my phone rang. I raised my brows when the unregistered number appeared on my screen. 

I hesitantly answered it. 

"Hello?" I asked the caller and my brows creased when I did not hear anything on the other line. 

"Hello? Who's this?"

I asked again but still, no one answered. I was about to end the call when something caught my attention. 

This can't be...I couldn't be wrong but I clearly heard a song on the other line---song that was very familiar to me. 

I suddenly felt goosebumps and I am literally shaking when I ended the call. 

It can't be...

I jump a little when the door opened and it was the confuse face of Agnes I saw. 

"Are you alright, Miss Abby? You look so nervous." She asked and walk towards me. I just shook my head and compose myself.
