Chapter 30 - Saving

“ Who would it be, Antonio or Nicholas?” Apollo asked while still choking Alpha Nicholas. His eyes are getting smaller and smaller every minute that it passes and I can literally hear him chasing his breath.

Thorne tapped my shoulder. “ Choose wisely, Thane,” he managed to say. I hit his hands away and pushed him enough for him to land on his face to the floor.

“ I am Devon,” I shouted and glared at Apollo.

Thorne clapped and made a sound. “ Thane was supposed to be your name,” he explained but it doesn’t matter. What matters the most is the sound of breathing of Alpha Nicholas, he was losing it and I needed to do something.

“ Your time is running, Thane. Are you sure you want to argue about your name?” Thorne mocked, looking at Alpha Nicholas. His veins are showing and the breathing that he’s making is so profound that it echoes along the rough surface of the wall.
