Chapter 33 - Lilac
He didn’t flinch when I enveloped him in a hug but what he did confuse me. His large arms pushed me away and his eyes looked at me without familiarity.
“W-Who are you?” he asked in an angry tone. Beta Xander and I looked at each other. There is this voice inside of my head that wanted to punch him from leaving us but as soon as I heard what he said, I wanted to know what he meant by that.
The tone of his voice didn’t sound like he’s joking. A soft hand touches his arms and I contain every jealousness inside of me just to stop myself from throwing a punch. The girl had a small face and small frame, she looks innocent and my heart breaks when I saw how Alpha Nicholas looked at her with so much care.
