No one can know

The next day started with Ruhee bringing me breakfast in the room. 

Apparently, after last night I was not allowed to leave my room without Damien or some other bodyguard but the idea of walking with a stranger following me around sounded bizarre to me. 

Never thought I would say this, but I was waiting eagerly to go back to Damien's house.

Ruhee was sitting quietly looking at the wall with a distant look in her eyes.

"I am sorry you have to stay inside the room because of me."

I moved the knight on the chessboard.

She gave a smile, "Don't be sorry. It is good to spend time with you."

She moved her last pawn, now her king was not guarded by any pawns.

"Did you grow up here?" I asked curiously. She seemed to know this palace and even the queen knew her.

I moved my bishop two steps to block the next move of her queen.

"In a way," she gave a short response.

Ruhee started twirling the ends of her hair
