Although I was part of the popular group in high school,  I always felt out of place. My parents weren’t Alpha, Beta or Gamma, but I wasn’t an omega either.  I had the biggest crush on Charlotte, but I knew she would probably end up with a future Beta or Alpha. But I secretly dreamed she was my mate.

So when I saw Charlotte again, it felt like a second chance. Looking back, I was a fool. I didn’t even know Charlotte that well and I fell for what I thought she was.
