17: All I see is Red
Luna
Rue ran as fast as she could, I could sense her fear, I now knew she dreaded this as much as I did. We didn’t know our way around the woods very well but there really was no need to know where we were headed when these wolves were ready to claw me to pieces.
I kept hearing Dracah’s voice in my head saying to me, “ Luna whatever you do don’t let Rue look back!” But Rue could hear it too! She was dying to see what was behind us but she didn’t turn back.
When the growling behind us got closer, Rue suddenly turned back to fight off a wolf that caught up to her, that was when I realized just how many wolves were after me. I panicked and so did Rue, suddenly a very frightening imagination entered Rue’s head where we were being clawed to pieces by all the wolves including Dracah and she came tumbling to the ground. She tried to get up but she sprained her leg.
