Epilogue

I glanced over at Gabriel from my desk. He was typing away with a look of displeasure that added to the feeling of irritation radiating off of him. Sharing an office had its perks, and I could happily say that we had christened every surface in the room…multiple times.

Sometimes, we just had to relieve some stress. It didn't help that he was perfection in human form. Most of the time, I ended up jumping him instead of the other way around. With all the work we had to do, it was good to let off some steam.

It had taken me several months to get accustomed to all of the responsibilities that were thrust upon me in my new role. The stress of it alone was its own battle, but I did my best to stay positive and calm during the transition.

I absolutely love this book...️ I’ve read quite a few books on this platform and this one had me fully vested for the first time ! There were quite a few nites where I just couldn’t stop reading until my body fell asleep.
