“Princess Lana.” A feminine, sweet voice interrupted us, my back stiffening. My body remained still as I heard the sound of heels clacking against the ground. From my view, I could see Axel’s lips curving when he spotted Angel.

The day I dreaded the most—our reception ceremony arrived, and I couldn’t be more jittery if possible. It’s probably the nerves; I thought that morning.
