8. Their Pain
KIARA
"Leave him."
I glanced at Rayhan as I was about to lift Dante from the bed.
"You need to sleep too."
He shook his head,
"I can’t sleep anyway. Leave him here, I’ll watch over them both."
Our eyes met and I nodded, feeling terrible.
"I'm so sorry, Ray." I whispered.
He shook his head, giving me a small smile that didn’t take away the emotions in his eyes that were riddled with worry and pain.
"We’re family and we stick together. You need to stop apologising." He said, caressing Delsanra’s snowy white hair. "She’s a fighter, they both are…"
I nodded as I kissed Dante’s forehead.
How much pain was he in? Was he going to be ok? I looked over at Delsanra, caressing her hair for a moment. She had two little pups, Ahren and Sienna. Goddess, they needed their mother.
"Kiara?" Rayhan’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and he raised an eyebrow. "They’ll be ok."

Hello everyone, this is just a free note with some key rules in my world as well as listing everyone’s mates and relationships, just to make certain things easier for those who are new readers or for those who have read book 1 and 2 a long time ago. MATING Mates can only be found on a Blood Moon and if they are over the age of eighteen. The Blood Moon occurs twice a year. - MARKING Werewolves can take chosen mates and even mark them. However only a true fated mates mark can remove the mark of another wolf. Unless the true mate is no longer alive then an unmarked wolf can mark on top of a true mate’s mark and replace it. - PREGNANCY Unless the female is marked, she cannot get pregnant, she does not need to have marked the male back to get pregnant. Omega females are the only ones that can get pregnant without being marked. Witches and human mates also needed to be marked to get pregnant. Unlike werewolves, Lycans can get any kind of she-wolf pregnant without marking. - HE
