Emma’s POV
“Here, I had this brought to your room. It’s hot chocolate with whipped cream, my favorite”. I sniff the mug, it smells delicious. “Here is a set of silk pajamas. This week, I shall like to take you to town to buy you a wardrobe”. My eyes snap up to her. I could not possibly go into a town and with what currency? I have nothing.

Liam’s POV “They’re finally here sir”. I have been on eggshells all day. Mother wasn’t aware of the trafficking that has been occurring in these parts, well all over really. Emma’s POV I am so excited to go for a walk. I desperately need some fresh mountain air. I put on what I think will be enough clothes until I step out into the brisk air. Oh lord it is colder than I expected. I turn to head to the room and Liam steps out. “Are you coming too?” I asked in a surprised tone. “I was planning on it unless it’s like a girls’ thing” he says smiling. “Oh definitely not, I just wasn’t sure”. Liam’s POV “Son, how bad is it?”. I pace in the lawn, “not good mom, not good”. I realize I have been sparing the worst part from my mother and sister. “Mom”, I stop, looking at her with my most serious face. “Someone has been targeting she wolves. We have been trying to track it but it’s completely random. Her eyes go massive, “WHAT? And you felt that keeping this from me was a good idea why??”. I realize now my grave mistake. I have never seen this side of her. “And what exactly are we doing to recover them?”. She’s pacing in a menacing way as if she is about to attack prey.
