Liam’s POV
“They’re finally here sir”. I have been on eggshells all day. Mother wasn’t aware of the trafficking that has been occurring in these parts, well all over really. There have been some missing neighboring pack females and any time mom or Ruth left, I had details to watch them. I didn’t want to worry her unnecessarily if I didn’t have to. They certainly weren’t allowed to leave alone.

Emma’s POV I am so excited to go for a walk. I desperately need some fresh mountain air. I put on what I think will be enough clothes until I step out into the brisk air. Oh lord it is colder than I expected. Emma’s POV This rower is the escape I have been waiting for. I am letting out more pent up sadness and anger than I realized I was holding. With each stroke, I feel more and more at ease. Liam’s POV We find a routine each morning. I meet her at her door and we walk hand in hand to the gym. She always goes for the rower and rows for what seems like eternity. She loves that thing.
